About

Rainbow Dracuteers is a grassroots organization dedicated to serving Dracut's LGBTQIA2S+ community. We aim to instill a sense of pride, self-love, and security among our rainbow children, teens, adults, and elders. From local programming to public outreach, Rainbow Dracuteer volunteers provide opportunities for education, community-building, and mutual aid across town.
FOUNDER/header

I'm Kaye Crawford, a bisexual, non-binary (they/them) Dracut resident and part-time Assistant Reference Librarian at the Parker Memorial Library. Dracut is my hometown; I'm a 2010 graduate of the Dracut public school system. After living over a decade in the Finger Lakes region of New York State where I completed both my undergraduate and graduate courses of education (Ithaca College and SUNY Binghamton, respectively), I've returned with a spouse and two cats in tow. I'm a professional writer, neurospicy nerd, and Top Donut enthusiast. (No one makes a better iced coffee!) It's my hope that Rainbow Dracuteers will connect fellow queer townies and strengthen the community as a whole throughout the Dracut.
Disclaimer: While I am a municipal employee of the Town of Dracut, Rainbow Dracuteers is an organization I have founded in my own time as a private citizen. My words & works are solely my own, and do not represent any official stance of the Town of Dracut or its elected officials. I willfully comply with the Social Media Policy outlined by the Parker Memorial Library Employee Manual.
